The Lahore High Court (LHC) has decided to transfer the anti-terrorism judge who convicted and sentenced the suspects involved in the brutal killing of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara and his arson in Sialkot, it was on Sunday.

It is reported that the LHC has decided to withdraw the services of Gujranwala Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Natasha Naseem, and the Punjab government has also approved the appointment of District and Session Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal in her place. The decision will be implemented after the Eid holidays with the approval of the LHC Chief Justice.

The decision to replace Natasha Naseem was made at the end of her term. District and Session Judge Rana Zahid Iqbal will now be the new ATC Gujranwala judge for three years.

His services will be provided to the Punjab government by the deputy, after approval by the LHC chief judge.

He is currently serving as a judge at the Bahawalpur Labor Court.
